The Jorge Guedes’ House is an extraordinary house design located in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal. This house is designed by 100 Planos Architecture. The landscape seems covered by the large windows. The Jorge Guedes’s house building rises to the principles of aggregation volumetric patents in vernacular architecture of the region. The Jorge Guedes’ House is divided into three bodies that extend to the ground, search each of the volumes the best orientation, solar and landscape, ending itself, the different valences of the house. The public of the private area is separated by the “Y” where the point of intersection of the arms. The “Y” is both the entry and distribution. A small orange patio fits the bathroom, kitchen, and laundry. It brings sunlight to those spaces without creating imbalances in elevation.
